Account Opening /Cards
Credit Cards
Credit Cards are financial tools issued by banks or financial institutions that allow cardholders to borrow funds up to a pre-set credit limit for making purchases or accessing services. Credit cardholders are required to repay the borrowed amount, typically with interest, unless the balance is paid in full before the due date. Credit cards offer a convenient, secure method of payment and come with various benefits, including rewards, cashback, and fraud protection.
Debit Cards
A Debit Card is a payment card that allows you to make purchases or withdraw cash directly from your bank account, without borrowing money. Unlike credit cards, where the cardholder borrows money up to a credit limit and repays it later, debit cards provide access to the funds already available in your bank account.
Travel Card
A Travel Card is a type of payment card designed specifically for individuals who frequently travel, offering a convenient and secure way to pay for travel-related expenses such as flights, hotel stays, and meals. Travel cards can be either prepaid or credit cards, and they offer features tailored to international and domestic travel, including currency conversion benefits, travel insurance, and rewards programs.
Demat Account
A Demat Account (short for Dematerialized Account) is an account that allows you to hold securities (such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds) in an electronic or digital format rather than in paper form. This account eliminates the need for physical certificates and makes trading, buying, and selling securities more efficient and secure.
Current Account
A Current Account is a type of bank account primarily used by businesses, traders, and individuals who require frequent transactions. Unlike a savings account, a current account is designed to allow an unlimited number of withdrawals and deposits. It does not usually earn interest on the balance, but it offers features and services that are more suitable for everyday business and personal financial transactions.
